f & g cancelation refund?

i sent a 50 dollar money transfer to a friend but then canceled it because it was coming straight from my bank account instead of my card and the money still was taken from my bank account and hasn't been refunded 2 days later is there any reason why and how I can get my money back?

When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will as the transaction was cancelled return them to your funding source (if you paid from your bank account or with a card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from that balance), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.

Friends/family payments from bank accounts are free which is why they go as echeques and you take the wait for them to clear.

If you use a card its instant but you pay a fee.
