canceling a pending transaction to a third party company

By being a complete idiot i managed myself to be scammed by a third party exchange company. The  cancel button next to the transaction is not available, so I tried to go through the resolution center, but i get "We’re sorry, you can’t file a case on this type of transaction", so i tried sending a couple emails, but got automated messages back pointing back to the cancel button which doesn't exist in my case. 

I know i have been toaster-level stupid to get scammed, but is there any way to get my money back or do i have to see my money go out the window?

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.

The transaction went through while i slept, so now it says completed. However the resolution center works now so i have opened a case. Hopefully it goes through!
