my paypal account and bank account were not linked, so i went to set that up and paypal said id have to confirm my link by making a deposit into my balance and gave me specific transfer details to enter in my online banking and said it needed to be exact however my bank won't accept the details because one of the girls has a symbol and the payee name is too long to fit. please help as i need to purchase something really soon. thanks
To pay somathing ASAP you need Credit or Debit Card linked to your PayPal account, not not bank account.
Bank account you need to withdraw funds from your PayPal balance when you receive funds by selling something or just receive funds from somebody.
I don't know the Irish local details about the symbol, sorry, try to replace that symbol to regular English character (similar) to be compatible with computer encoding.
