bank confirmation

I set up the bank account. then they do 3 transactions to verify. when i try to do the verify it will not let me proceed. i called customer service and she said the account was already active. why would i still be getting the verification requests and what info are they looking for. I typed in my user name and password for the bank and that did not work.
