Why do I keep getting error while trying to add my card to my PayPal account

Please, I keep getting error saying something like, "sorry we are not able to process this, please try later" whenever I try to add my card to my PayPal account I even tried linking the card to my personal account, it says it has been linked to another account whereas it's not, please what should I do I need to link it urgently

If your card has been linked to another PayPal account, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Service directly. If you would like to call in, you can find the correct phone number for your country by clicking 'Help & Contact' at the bottom of the PayPal homepage and by clicking 'Contact us' and then 'Call us'.
