Last week I transferred US$100 from my checking account to my PayPal account.
It finally cleared today, but when I tried to send that amount to a friend the transaction was blocked and I was told there were "security concerns" with the transaction. My friend and I are both users in good standing with PayPal.
PayPal refused to send my money to my friend because their algorithm has told them there is a problem, a problem, mind you, that they cannot or will not identify.
I have been a member in good standing with PayPal for more than a decade, but I cannot and will not do business that fails to use a modicum of common sense . . .
Once my balance has been cleared, I'm closing the account.
