What information do you need to instantly verify a bank account?

I have tried to verify my bank account instantly. When it asks for your "ID" and "PIN" what should I enter? Where is it found? Is it on the debit card/checks/bank account?

Its asking you to enter online banking login info (ie username and password) as if you are logging into your online banking account at your bank's website.
