Verification failed when trying to contact PayPal through e-mail

Hi

 

I've always used PayPal through the credit system; but now I wanted to link my bank account to my PayPal account.

I've tried to link my bank account but I allways get the message:

Our apologies. We cannot process your request at this time. Try again later.

(translated from Dutch).

 

I've tried a couple of times but I always end up getting the message above.

I tried contacting PayPal through e-mail using the 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the PayPal page. But when the I try to compose a new e-mail, I get the message 'Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you'.

 

Any hand on this?

Hi Koekoet and welcome, 

 

I am sorry to hear that you are having such issues adding your bank account. Is your bank registered in the same country as your PayPal account? If not then this may be why you are unable to add it. If it is and you are still having issues please give us a call as we may need to make some adjustments to your account to assist you in adding it. To call us just click on the "Help & Contact" link at the bottom of any PayPal page.
