Updating card info

I have lost my debit card, and have now received a new one, thus I need to put new card number in.  I have gone as advised to 'wallet', update card details, but it seems to only allow me to put in a new expirey date.  It will not let me put in my new card number.  What am I doing wrong.?????

Hi Natasha69 and welcome, 

 

I am sorry to hear that you lost your card. I know inconvenient this can be. When you report your card as lost most card issuers will issue you with a new card that has a new number on it. This is a security measure designed to protect you. This means that when you are adding your card to your PayPal account you will need to add it as a new card. If you go to the same place and click on "wallet" but this time choose "add a new card" you should be able to add it without any issues.
