Update expiration date

Hi,

The expiration date on my CC is 09/2018. I want to buy something online using my paypal but on my paypal account it says that I need to update my card/expiration date. However, Today is 09/28.. my bank told me my card is valid until 09/30. Why can't I use the same CC on my paypal until the last day of the month?

Because by the time paypal process your payment it would have expired.
