Unable to link debit card

Hi all, I've tried linking my debit card to my PayPal account, I filled the information required in the form. I got debited $1, but I didn't receive any code from the description as stated in the PayPal website. I don't know what's wrong. I tried again and got debited again. Still no code. I'm stucked. Paypal is 'country specific' so advice often depends on what country you are in. As you have not added your country to your community profile or said in your post then we can't help at the moment.
