Unable to Link Peruvian Bank Account to New Paypal Account

Hello,

I am unable to link my Peruvian Bank Account to my new PayPal account. I had another account with Paypal that I canceled because I no longer have that business. I have not been able to pay my Shopify account through paypal and have been back and forth with bank, PayPal, and Shopify. Any advise?

For your security, you can link a bank account to only one PayPal account at a time. This bank account is linked to a PayPal account that you don’t use, please ensure you close that account by following the steps listed here https://www.paypal.com/pe/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-close-my-paypal-account-faq1215. If this bank account has been linked to 3 previous PayPal accounts, it can’t be linked to another PayPal account. You’ll need to link a different bank account to this PayPal account.
