I have just sold a relatively large item on eBay hence my reason for using UPS. I wanted to pay for shipping through PayPal just to keep all my eBay transactions in one place. However my payment to UPS is pending for authorisation and also says that my funding source (my PayPal balance) will be charged when UPS completes my order. I am assuming that this is either when the have measured the item and ensured that I have been billed correctly or when the item is delivered. I work for a shipping company myself and this is usually how we process payments. The issue is that I was never sent a label to print.
As time is of the essence here, I have used alternative means to pay for the shipping which will be collected from my address tomorrow. What will come of this pending payment and how do I have it cancelled? Also if the payment was to eventually go through could I get a refund?
What are my options here?
