Trouble confirming phone number when linking debit card

When I try to link my bank account and enter my number the message I receive says "This type of number is not supported, check your number and try again." This is my number and has been for a over a year. And I am not sure why it is saying my phone nunber is confirmed but it is not actually confirmed when linking my debit card.

In order to confirm a phone number, it must be a mobile phone number that can receive a text message with a confirmation code.

 

If you phone number meets that criteria and you still cannot confirm it, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support to research this a bit further. You can reach Customer Support by clicking Contact and then Call Us at the bottom of the PayPal website. They're also available through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message.
