Transfer Taking Too Long

Yesterday, I tried to transfer my money to my card using the 1% fee, and it wanted me to wait 24 hours. So I did, but when I got on the PayPal app, it said my transfer was denied, then I got a email saying that it was for security reasons. Now, I have to wait up to 72 hours just to be able to get my money! This is ridiculous! What security reasons is it talking about?! I just want my money!

As you haven't even said what country you are in let alone if you have withdrawn funds before etc then sorry no idea.

I live in the United States, and I this would be my first time withdrawing from my PayPal.
