The amount received differs from that of email notification

Hi, 
I got an email notification confirming that, I received 'X' amount of money. But when I logged in to my paypal account, I found that I received 'X-145' amount of money. I don't know where the $145 gone. Has anyone faced the same issue: amount differed from email notified & actually received? Please help.

Have you accounted for the paypal FEE that is deducted from your buyers payment before the remainder is credited to your paypal balance?
