Someone never got the payment i sent them

i sent my friend a good amount of money and they never got it. it says completed on my end with a transaction id but it isn’t popping up on their side what so ever. idk what to do paypal keeps telling me to get the person to call but it’s no point if they don’t have a receipt. they also told me since it was completed they should got it regardless which isn’t true clearly. then at that you can never get in contact with anyone. this is dumb it has to be another way

How much of a friend?

Only its a scammers trick to get you to send funds (normally using the friends/family option) and then say they didn't get it.

If its marked as completed then it has successfully transferred to the email address that is linked to an active paypal account that it was sent to.

So check the email address and make sure there were no spelling errors.

If you sent it as goods/services then post back for more advice.
