What happens when I send money to a person? Does it automatically get sent to their bank account and shown on their statement

Payments go from one paypal account to another paypal account.

Then the receiver can click to withdraw those funds to any linked bank account or card (varies country to country what options are available for withdrawal of funds) that they have linked and confirmed to that paypal account.

Will refunding the money remove the transaction on the bank statement because there's a pending transaction on my statement.

Will refunding the money remove the transaction on the bank statement because I have a pending transaction and want to remove it. I received money but I dont want it and I have no withdraw option only refund.
