Sending money to a friend

I am trying to send a friend money! It asked for my phone number to make sure it’s me and it won’t accept my number say it’s not my registered number! I did go and make sure that the number was correct in my settings! How do it fix this?

Is there a mismatch between the name and/or address on your PayPal account and the name and/or address on your phone bill statement?
