Hello I was just curious to how this security system works cause when a customer sends me money and I try to withdraw or send that payment it usually denies leaving my paypal. Anyone know how long the payment must stay in my account. Anyone have a break down to how the security works. It’s very tiresome trying to understand if I’m going to be able to take my money out or not.

Hi @Alefebvre87,
If the funds are not yet available, here are some reasons why it is on hold and how to release it sooner.
If the funds are available, but you're receiving an error message when attempting to transfer your funds, it could be our security system not comfortable with processing your request at that time or your PayPal account is requesting additional information from you before funds can be exited. I recommend going to the Resolution Center to check the status of your account. I hope this helps!
