Send to non existing bank account

Hello, i send money to my old bank account which Is not existing, what will happen Now ? I called to bank and they said that the money will return automaticli back to my PayPal account. Is it correct ? And i send money to my active bank account and transaction says that it is complete, bit i didnt recieve anything.

If the transfer is declined then it should bounce back to your balance, allow 14 business days and if no sign contact customer services for a trace.
