So I'm selling an item on eBay and someone contacted me saying they wanted to purchase but would rather connect through text messaging I was like ok sure. Long story short we came to the agreement that they would buy the product so they asked for my PayPal email and the item number. I receive an email from "Paypal" but under the email 'verifyyourshipmentsproof@gmail.com'. The email stated that the money has been approved and taken out of the buyers account but won't be credited to my account until I ship the item. I for some reason do not trust this email but I wanted to make sure that it is a scam! PLEASE HELP!

Scam. That is not an official PayPal email address. PayPal does not use Gmail. They have their own domain name (PayPal.com) for emails.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
