That sounds a bit strange. If you are on a computer, try clearing cache and cookies completely from the web browser and check if there is a difference. If there is no change, you may have to get in touch with PayPal Customer Service to get this situation sorted. They may want to look into your account and see what could be causing your bank to show up even after removing it.
You can call PayPal Customer Service (Click 'Call us' option located at bottom of Contact us page on the PayPal website) or reach out to them via Facebook or Twitter.
