Received money, but Paypal balance is 0 ?

Hi there, I received a paypal payment via my number ( they sent the payment to my phone number ) so I clicked the link and clicked to claim and it said “the money is now in your account” but when I use the PayPal app my account balance is £0 and there is no recent transactions. This is very frustrating as I need the money ASAP Hope to hear from someone soon Many thanks

Hi, Thanks for replying, yes I did confirm my number quite a while back but there’s still nothing showing.
