Received a transaction alert email

I received an email informing me of a transaction I do not recognize. The email says the transaction will not appear until the items are shipped so it is not yet on the list of transactions on my PayPal account. Is there anyway to stop the transaction before it actually charges me?

Sound like a scam / spoof email to me.

Paypal never tells you to send an item before being paid and you have not paid if no transaction is showing.
