I sold a top on depop but the buyer wanted a refund so I sent them the money through paypal, but I sent it to the wrong email luckily it wasn’t accepted and I cancelled the transaction. The money then came back into my account and I resent the payment to the correct email. PayPal is now saying I owe them £50 and I’m on a negative 50 balance. I didn’t use any of their money so I don’t understand how I owe them £50??

Hi @yasemin,
This seems odd, I would suggest you check the funding source of both transactions. In the Activity section of your account, you can click on the details of each transaction.
A negative balance occurs if the funding source like a bank transfer fails. You will find other reasons for this to happen here.
If you can't figure it out, please contact our support directly through the help section of your account.
Thanks
Martin
