Paypal payment status on hold

Hi there,

I have PayPal on my website, so my clients can pay for their monthly invoices using PayPal. I am not a seller, just a service provider who wants to give clients a chance to use Stripe or PayPal to make monthly payments.

One client payed and his payment is on Hold, but when I tried to make a few €1 test payments from my personal PayPal account those payments went through.

I don't have products to ship, so all the solutions provided on these forums are not applicable to me. Also I don't want to ask my clients to leave reviews just so I can get the payment. Is there anything else I can do so my future payments don't go to hold?

Thanks

You are a seller if you're receiving payments even for a service. No client sends you money for nothing. You'll have to roll with the punches until you develop a good selling history with PayPal by marking the payments as Shipped (without tracking number), or Order Processed by clicking "Add Tracking" in the transaction details and ask the senders to confirm receipt on their end to release funds immediately or just wait up to 21 days for PayPal to release the funds if a sender does not report a problem before then.

Thanks for your reply. So we can just wait 21 days and then PayPal will release funds if the buyer doesn't report problem? If that's the case, that's fine.

Also I already tried to mark the payment as shipped, but it doesn't allow me to mark it without the tracking code. And of course I don't have a tracking code as it's not the product but the service I'm selling.
