Paypal balance negative even though I paid

Hello,

My bank account is linked to my paypal.

I had a payment charged on 8jan : there was not enough money on my bank account so the transaction didn't complete.

11jan : I paid a transaction fee and i credit my bank account, there's enough money on it.

15jan : money got withdrawn from my bank account , equal to the amount of the original payment.

I know the seller received the money, but my paypal balance somehow stays negative.

How do I resolve this ?

Hi Neyuh,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community! 

If your account was negative because we could not charge a transaction to your bank account, but you see that the payment was charged at a later stage, do not worry, it may take a couple of days for the amount to show to your PayPal balance. Usually, it takes 3-5 working days.
