Payments declined after changing linked accounts

Hi all

I've just changed my preferred account from a Commonwealth savings account to an ING savings account. Now I'm having payments declined and am getting a lot of emails telling me to add credit to my Paypal account to cover the transactions. I spoke to customer service who said to wait 5 days as the withdrawal of funds would be put through again and that should clear it up. However, payments continue to be declined when taking funds from my new account, which can't be true as this account has more than enough to cover the transaction. 

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi @artdodo,

 

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community forum!

 

In general, Savings bank accounts may not work on PayPal. This may be the reason why the transactions are declined.
