My friend just paid £100 into my PayPal account to pay back some money I lent him. It is not a payment for any goods or services but it is still pending plus z fee has been deducted!!!! How can I get the funds cleared immediately??

Its down to how the payment was SENT to your account.

1. If they sent using money > goods / services option then paypal would see you as a seller and apply the new seller hold. They would also charge you a fee.

2. If they had sent using the send money > family / friends option then you would have had the payment instantly. (However that option is not available in every country).

I paid a friend using the pay a friend option but is stuck as pending. I used her phone number not a PayPalme account is that the reason and how can I sort it out?
