Payment remains on hold & under review

I've grown increasingly despondent and am now thouroghly disappointed in PayPal. My funds have been on hold and under review for a week now.. No correspondence or updated information from Paypal at any point. In fact nothing at all. I'm starting to think I'm never going to see this money. The entire experience (my 1st by the way) has been difficult, frustrating and on the whole unpleasant. I certainly will not make use of PayPal for any transaction ever again and will definitely advise anyone I may come across thinking of using PayPal emphatically not to. In fact I think I'll probably clip my money to a homing pigeons ankle instead it stands a greater chance of arriving on time and will certainly be a whole lot less frustrating and the pigeon would probably be more communicative.
