Hello
I am not a vendor. I received a payment from a friend in Canada and it's been on hold since June 16, 2020. There's no way for me to accept it or take it off hold. Does anyone know why? This is my personal PP account. She's part of an organization and sent the money through her organization for some online work I did. Thanks.

Its down to how the payment was SENT to your account.
1. If they sent using money > goods / services option then paypal would see you as a seller and apply the new seller hold.
2. If they had sent using the send money > family / friends option then you would have had the payment instantly. (However that option is not available in every country).
Also you need to read this policy as you are in 1 of the affected countries.
