Payment on Hold

I'm a client of an artist and I bought her art a few days back. I sent a payment to her but she said that the payment is pending, I received the art but the payment is not released yet. I don't know whats going on, can someone help? Or should I just email the customer service?

If its marked as completed in your Paypal account then you have paid. The fact its pending on the SELLERS end is between them and paypal as they are new sellers.

They are at no more risk now than if they had the funds in their bank account. The hold is to protect PAYPAL from new sellers that don't refund buyers in the event of a dispute. If that happens Paypal refund the buyer under buyer protection and Paypal would then limit the sellers account and chase them to pay those funds back to Paypal.

I just sold for the first time an item on depop and I updated the tracking and the package got delivered today, when will the money be processed into my account? It still shows pending

Please review the link previously posted by our Superuser on the funds availability process. The estimated release date of the funds will also appear in the transaction details on your PayPal account.

I have the same issue, I sold my game account to a buyer and he sent me the 2 payments that we talk about and now I need the money because of EMERGENCY but the MONEY IS ON HOLD IN PAYPAL AND I CANT USE IT.
