I sold an item on eBay for £6.73,which I received and have managed to spend £1.49 of it. I have now noticed that the amount (£6.73) it is on Pending...the customer has asked for a refund for this amount (£6.73) is this why this amount is now on pending as their awaiting a refund? I'm new to this and have never experienced doing a refund as all my customers have been happy with their purchases (unlike this one who has complained from the start!) Any advice would be helpful. TIA

If a payment that you received has been disputed for a refund, the amount of the payment in question is always held until the case has been resolved. You can find the case in your Resolution Centre. Here is more information on our Seller Protection policy.
