PayPal keeps giving me a negative balance

Recently I sent some money to someone. I thought I had enough money on my back account, but I didn't. A few days later I received an email from PayPal, saying that they couldn't complete the transaction because I didn't have sufficient money on my bank account. They told me. I had a negative balance and that I needed to top it up asap. A friend sent me the money over PayPal bcs at the moment I couldn't access my bank account (I moved to Holland and needed a certain verification app that I didn't have anymore bcs of a blocked phone). So PayPal immediately took the money and my balance was zero. Problem solved, I thought. But now I got another message from PayPal and my balance is over - 3 euro. I have no idea why. Can someone please help me out? I want to call PayPal but my German isn't fantastic and it would be kind of hard to explain the situation. I'm afraid PayPal will keep taking money from me.

Did you have some kind of automatic payment you didn't know of? Go to your account and click on the transactions to see the details.

Also use this link to check the running balance by selecting that from the filter menus at the top:

https://www.paypal.com/listing/transactions

If you need further assistance:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.
