PayPal having errors with sending and receiving money from my Verified Bank Account

Hi all, I was using paypal the other day to shop on amazon, when my paypal asked for a credit card. I thought that was strange because I had a bank account linked and it was Verified, so I went and sent money to my balance through paypal, but it comes up with an error

I called the bank and they said all was fine with their side of things so it leads me to here. I want to know why my paypal is not letting me send or receive money to my balance with my bank account.

Amazon doesn't accept paypal.

The only time you can use it is if you are paying with a paypal card.

Did the seller accept Paypal via their auction OR did they accept direct credit card payments processed via their paypal card reader?

The seller accepted both credit card and paypal for payment options. But I have made ebay purchases before through paypal and there were no problems with paying on ebay with my Verified bank account .
