Roughly 3 days ago I linked my bank account to PayPal. I figured that I needed to wait at least 3 days before my linked banked account would be confirmed. One hour ago at 1:54 AM I got an email saying that I have selected preferred payment method.
I then check through at the wallet section and it still tells me Type Checking in the bank account I linked?
When you add your bank, you need to confirm this with a 4 digit code or with 2 small amounts that are added to your PayPal balance. The bank will not become aut0omatically verified.
The 'Checking' that you mention is a deposit account held at a financial institution that allows withdrawals and deposits. It can also say 'savings' for example.
