How do I find out if there will be a 21 day hold on my account if someone pays me with PayPal goods and services? Side note/ sold someone an item two days ago and the funds were available immediately when I sent them my PayPal link (not using goods and services). I’ve had this account for over a year and had multiple successful transactions

Why is my payment on hold or unavailable?

No other sure fire way to know. The system decides it if it meets certain criteria which can differ from what we think.

Personal PayPal.me link offer sender the friends and family option as well as goods and services option. If the person sent it as friends and family option by chance, the payment may go through immediately. Abuse of this option, PayPal may disable it as fee avoidance.
