PayPal Cash A Check

So I tried cashing a check and at this time it’s after business hours. In my haste and thinking that the check would cash I began to Void the check. One letter in and the PayPal app denies the check because it’s after hours. Is it possible, now that the check has a big black V on it, to still cash this check??

Appears you might need another check issued to you. You have no choice now.

"Do not write ‘VOID’ on your check until you are prompted to, which is only after you receive confirmation that your check was approved.  If you write ‘VOID’ before you receive confirmation that your check was approved, your check will be denied approval."

If the image isn't saved when you first submitted the check, you can't have this big o' V on the check on the resubmit.
