an offer was accepted from myself for an item off eBay and a payment was made to me from them through PayPal, however the payment was kept on hold and an agreement was made that once the currier collected the item the funds would be released i went online but it was saying technical issues so as this was taking time we decided to let the currier take the item, after many messages to the buyer a message from himself stated that he would ask eBay to take payment off hold the next day, then out of the blue he send an email trying to say i had cancelled the item from being delivered to his address from the depot which was not at all true. they are now trying to dispute the payment through PayPal. i believe this is a scam has this happened to anyone else? do you know if there is anyway of getting my funds from them?
