Money on hold. How do I know the date I will receive/be able to access the money?

You haven't said if its an Ebay or non-Ebay private sale via Paypal.

So for a Paypal hold funds are released either when your tracking number shows delivery of the item + 1 day OR 21 days.

It’s private. For some reason a customer of mine wanted to use PayPal this time. (Usually pays invoices by bacs). I didn’t see the problem. I’ve now realised I’ve been fleeced for nearly £50!!! I won’t be allowing it again. It has absolutely no benefit for me. It takes 21 days longer, charges me and it’s clearly to make interest on the money they hold. I can understand In certain scenarios regarding payment and receipt of goods. But not in my situation. The message says, ‘on hold. Money received’. What does that mean? Thank you
