Non ebay payment on hold after 7 days

Hi, I was paid some money for carrying out freelance work some time ago. This payment is still on hold over 7 days later, does anyone know what I can do? It says it needs buyer confirmation but it's nothing to do with buying or selling on any eBay sort of platform so I have no idea what to do.
