New account, deposit funds at store; wait time

Hey, just wondering do i receive my account funds instantly into my paypal acct if i make a cash deposit at a walmart, walgreens or 711 etc. OR do i have to wait the 21 days or any other length of time. Brand new customer btw and ive already made 1 transaction in which a family member sent me money and its now on hold for 21 days... Thanks ahead of time

Its down to how the payment was SENT to an account.

1. If sent using money > goods / services option then paypal would see the recipient as a seller and apply the new seller hold. They would also charge a fee.

2. If sent using the send money > family / friends option then the recipient would have the payment instantly (as long as it wasn't an echeque pending with a clearance date) with no fee if funded from a bank account or balance (a fee if you use a card). (However that option is not available in every country).

If they used option 1 by mistake then try.........

If you mark the transaction as processed then the sender may have the option on their account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If the sender confirms this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, the funds may be released to you sooner. This is not always guaranteed. 
If not then sadly its 21 days.

Thank you. But what if i want to add money myself, into my own account using walmart or walgreens? How long does that take to hit my account? Not selling goods, just strictly uploading my own money basically?.. Thanks again!
