I've seen mixed answers on this so I'm sure things have changed. What is the current "timeline" to resolve a negative balance? I had sent $800 F&F to a friend, when it hit the bank the next day the bank declined which resulted it being negative on PayPal. After talking with the bank they said that PayPal reversed the transaction. When I talk to PayPal they say that the bank declined it so I'm not exactly sure what happened. I have had my bank account linked for a few years now. There was more then enough money in the bank account. Anyways in my bank account, I have the charge on hold until up to 5/20/2021. Is it okay to wait that long to resolve the balance? I refuse to resolve it until I know that the hold is released and the fund are "visually" back in my account.
Should I let PayPal know of this info? Would they stop calling if I tell them this info?
