My funds are shown pending with the buyer

Hello,

i have made a transfer to a friends in needs. Now the deposit is pending after 1 day on his side and completed on mine. What can i do so that he receive the funds faster or how can i cancel my transfer so i can send the fund in another way?

Its down to how the payment was SENT to your account.

1. If they sent using money > goods / services option then paypal would see you as a seller and apply the new seller hold. They would also charge you a fee.

2. If they had sent using the send money > family / friends option then you would have had the payment instantly with no fee. (However that option is not available in every country).

There are however some occasions where friends / family payments are held for reviews but these are normally only 24 hours.
