In general, funds can be held for multiple reasons. For example, it may be that we need more information from you to release the amount and in this case, please visit your Resolution Centre where you should find some steps to complete to provide the requested information. Otherwise, if you have just started selling using this account, PayPal may have placed the payments you receive in your pending balance. This is practised in the effort to provide a safer and protected online payment environment for both the buyer and seller. Funds are usually held for 21 days unless you provide more information to be eligible for an early release. You can find more information here.
