I received a mail from a buyer stating he made payment, but when I log on to my account the balance is 0.00. The confirmation of payment email is also from a different email address than my account confirmation. Is this a scam? Please help. Thank you.

Yep, this scam.............

SCAM.

They encourage you to accept a 'direct' Paypal payment and may ask you to send the item internationally.
No funds or activity of the transaction shows in your Paypal account and any emails 'may' go into your junk or spam folders.

You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't because they don't actually have a Paypal account and have no intention of paying you.
It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.
They will tell you that the payment is released when you provide paypal with a tracking/shipping number......this won't happen.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.
Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.

Could well be, clue is sometimes in the email you receive if you can give us a gist of content WITHOUT putting any personal or identifying information on here.

Thanks for the quick reply. Let's just maybe start with the email address. services.int.paypaI(at)mail.com Is that the correct email address to receive payment confirmation?

Scammers can make emails look as if they are from another address.

The best way to tell is via the contents of the email but if you don't want to post that then thats fine.

So, this is the mail I received. I just changed a couple of things to omit names etc.

Take note of the horrible grammar in the footnotes.

Please tell me what you think.

Thank you.
