I’ve just just sold an item and they paid via PayPal just a quick transfer and the money has been held I’ve been told I need to post and add a tracking number to receive the money is this true?

Tis true but make sure the funds are really showing in your account before shipping!

Sellers/recipients do this to get money sooner (may not be available for some countries):

 - Click Activity at the top of the page.

 - Find and click the original payment for the item.

 - Click Add Tracking Info.

 - Select an order status.

Note: PayPal releases funds when delivery can be confirmed with courier.

Or, if shipping is not required but order status is updated, ask buyers/senders to “confirm receipt” to release funds (may not be available for some countries):

 - Click Activity at the top of the page.

 - Find and click the original payment for the item.

 - Click Confirm Receipt.

 - Click Yes to confirm that you received the order.

***Not all purchases require receipt confirmation.
