How can I add money to my PayPal account from my debit account?

That wallet option. Click it.

Surprisingly, this is more easily done on the paypal App, but depending on where you are, this process may not be avaliable.

You can only withdraw money from paypal accounts in all countries, depositing money into it is a bit difficult sometimes. If you have a credit card or bank account, you shouldn't need to. But here's the FAQ page for this.

You can use paypal.me if you just want to get paid, or ask others for their paypal.me if you want to pay them instead. 

Link a card to your paypal account using the transfer money option or the wallet option if you just want to use paypal in general for further purchases. Just know that doing so will make it charge your card, and not your balance, until you get some money into your balance. (Or sometimes it'll charge your card anyway, you'll have to contact support for that, it's just a recent issue).

Heres the UK link and how to add funds.

There are 2 options by using add funds or clicking on that and then using the information to go into your online banking and sending it from there.
