Massiv delay to withdraw money which was paid in USD

I live in UK and was paid in USD on the 15th of September. The payment showed up on my account but I was only able to transfer it on the 27th of September. These are nearly 2 weeks !!!!

That is not acceptable at all.

I am running a business, not a lemonade stand. This is money I earned with hard work and I need to pay bills etc.

I am not happy.

I am sorry to hear about the delay in your money. I can understand wanting and needing your money sooner. Are you new to selling? If so, was there a payment hold placed on the payment? This can happen for new sellers. You can find more information on holds here. If this is not what happened, could you please explain further why there was a delay in transferring?

my account is in use since 2007. I am paying for subscription services and I am getting paid from my clients for my work (I am a translator).

there should not be any holds on my account at all.

I have no idea why it took so long, I only know that I am anything but amused about it.
